The quilting on the solid side is what sold me — it's puffy without being bulky, so my toddler still gets a flat surface to sleep on. Both sides have held up through maybe ten washes now and the filling hasn't bunched up once.

The quilted side is soft and looks great, but the patterned reverse makes it feel like two cases for the price of one. It slips right over the toddler pillow and stays put all night.

My toddler actually keeps this on his pillow all night instead of tossing it on the floor, which says a lot. The double-sided design is handy since I can flip the patterned side up when guests see his room or the solid quilted side when it's just us.
